Heavy coordination and construction are under way at UCF’s new project – an on-campus research and incubator facility that will house its programs for nano-science technology, advanced materials processing and analysis, optics and lasers, and energy research.
Dubbed the Interdisciplinary Research Incubator, the HVAC scope of work for the project includes a substantial amount of piping with a combination of underground piping, vaults, extensive controls and lab work.
We were contracted with Charles Perry Partners, Inc. for an approximate installed mechanical value of $3.6 million. Construction is expected to be complete this time next year.
